HOW TO ADD ADSENSE TO BLOGGER

Just go to http://www.blogger.com and log in with your username and password which you created when you set up blog account. Then click on layout.

Here you'll see a conceptualized layout of your blog. You can add elements to your blog page, such as space for text links, banner ads, Adsense and so on. Go ahead and click on the longer dotted box at the bottom (circled in screen shot) that says “Add a Page Element”.

Next, you should get a pop up window showing you a list of elements you can add to your page. Choose 'Add to Blog' under the Google Adsense element. After that, you will be taken to a pop up window asking you to create a Google Adsense account.

Simply follow the instructions on the page, and then check your e-mail account for an e-mail with additional instructions on setting up your Adsense account. Make sure you find that e-mail and click, be sure to read the rest of the confirmation e-mail as well, since it will contain other information on finishing the registration and approval process. If you don’t your e-mail, your Adsense account may not be created.

Once you've completed the sign-up form, or logged in to an existing account, you'll see a special preview version of your template, showing your blog as it will look with your new ads:

Using the menus above the preview, you can easily change the size, shape, and color of your ads, without ever needing to edit the code directly. The color menu has some preset color schemes, but also some flexible options that try to match, contrast, or blend with whatever template you happen to be using.

And now you're done! Congratulations -- you've got AdSense!

Notes:

There may be a bit of a delay before the AdSense bot gets to your site and you start getting targeted ads, though that should happen within 48 to 72 hours. Just be patient and it will get there in time.
